Broomfield Skatepark | Street Obstacles and Fun Bowls
The Broomfield Skatepark is a small to medium sized cement skatepark built by Team Pain Skateparks. This 12,000 sq. ft. skatepark has a simple street section and a pretty unique bowl that has a good flow that is fun for longboarding in a skatepark. The current layout of the Broomfield Skatepark was completed in 2010 but the city has recently hired Evergreen Skateparks for some repairs, improvements and a small expansion. The skatepark is set to reopen on May 26th, 2023. We’re excited to see the outcome of this project!

Riders Thoughts:
Broomfield Skatepark is a fun little cement skatepark with a good variety of obstacles. The street section is littered with boxes, ramps, and ledges of different heights and shapes. While skating around riders will also find a number of rails around the park.
The main flat street section is home to many of the street skating features and has a large stair case and ramp that leads up to the next level of the skatepark. The six step stair case is long and features two rails as well as a large cement box and ledges on either side.
Shred it Later – Pin it Now
Once you get up the stairs or ramp you can see the bowls on the back side of the skatepark. The large bowl has a unique shape and a great flow with some pretty cool shaped pockets. The bowl is mostly lined in coping but does have a nice roll in that is great for longboarding in a skatepark. This allows a rider to easily enter the bowl without having to drop in. The top of the bowl has a few cool transitions that lead up to a higher level and different and combines some other features to play on while skating the bowl. This area of the Broomfield Skatepark was the most fun for my cement surfing style of riding on a longboard.
The Broomfield Skatepark also features a traditional bean shaped pool style bowl. This bowl has very steep walls and is lined in cement coping all the way around. This small bowl also has a small three step stair set inside the shallow side of the bowl.
The skatepark is set inside of the larger Broomfield Community Park and has a number of sidewalks throughout the park We found that these trails are fun for cruising around if you decide to take your wheels out of the skatepark. Overall I think advanced riders will unlock the full potential of this simple skatepark, and other riders will still enjoy the elements found here.
For more fun in the Broomfield area, we highly recommend the Broomfield Pump Track! This awesome pump track is very large and is great for longboarding or anyone else who likes a flowy style of riding!
