Trona Pinnacles are giant spire-like geological formations known as tufas. Sacagawea peak is known for being the tallest peak in the Bridger Range of Montana. The mountains make a beautiful backdrop the the city and the trailhead is a hour from Bozeman, making it the perfect get away for someone trying escape the city. Hiking Sacagawea peak trail is a rewarding hike with great 360° views from the top.

Hiking to Mystic Lake in Montana
We packed up for a one night trip and headed out for our trip hiking to Mystic Lake. Once in the wilderness the surrounding landscape is beautiful with tall granite walls and sharp peaks. The trail starts ascending and becomes more rocky, then it turns into switchbacks on the rocky side of the mountain. Once at the top of the switchbacks, the views are incredible and Mystic Lake looks gorgeous!

Gold Strike Hot Springs
One of the coolest adventures that we did on the outskirts of Vegas was the hike to Gold Strike Hot Springs. This hike is in Boulder City, about 45 minutes from the Strip. This hike had it all: beautiful scenery, boulder scrambling, ropes to repel down, hot springs, and a cold river!
