Fox Glenn Skatepark in Flagstaff Arizona
Fox Glenn Skatepark in Flagstaff Arizona is a medium sized skatepark with a long and narrow layout that features both vert and street obstacles. This popular skatepark is great for intermediate riders with mid sized vert and a good mixture of obstacles. Flagstaff is home to the three really nice skateparks. There is The Basin Skate and BMX Park which is a huge skatepark with numerous bowls and some serious vert. And there’s also Bushmaster Skatepark which has an open layout with many smooth and flowy features plus the usual ramps and quarter-pipes. Each of these skateparks have some important features for longboarding in a skatepark.

Riders Thoughts:
The Fox Glenn Skatepark in Flagstaff Arizona is a cool medium sized skatepark that most skateboarders will love. As you enter the skatepark gate you approach a ramp to your left that leads down to a smooth box and some rails. Accross from that is a variety of quarter pipes and ramps.
Riders can either hit the quarter pipe wall on the other side which gradually becomes taller or go left to see the rest of the skatepark.
This is where the features in Fox Glenn Skatepark become taller vert with smooth banked turns. This area is fun for riding a longboard in the skatepark! The banked turns and smooth transitions flow pretty well and help riders build speed through the park. There are a number of vert pockets on both sides in this area which is fun because it allows riders to be creative with their lines.
This area of the skatepark is fun, but can be crowded because it becomes kind of narrow. The flow of the skatepark easily allows riders to cruise all the way through the skatepark and enter the large bowl area at a pretty good speed. The large bowl/vert area has tall banked turns and a smooth hump that is great for pumping to build speed. The tall vert and banked turns along with the smooth transitions in the middle of the bowl make this a highlight when riding a longboard in the skatepark.

As I toured Fox Glenn Skatepark I would get cruising on the longboard but the last pocket on the large bowl is only entered from one side. So you have to switch up your flow to exit the bowl, or else you end up just going in circles here.
The three skateparks in Flagstaff make it so skaters have a choice of where they can skate and can switch it up. Overall, Fox Glenn Skatepark is the one to choose if you’re looking for street obstacles or if you’re looking to sharpen your drop in skills. From our experience, The Fox Glenn Skatepark seems to be the most popular among kids in the Flagstaff area. If mellow vert and flowy transitions sound like your skate style, you should check out Bushmaster Skatepark. And if you’re an experienced rider looking for some huge vert, you’ll be stoked to check out The Basin Skate and BMX Park!
