Genoveva Chavez Skatepark in Santa Fe
After checking out Martha Ramirez Skatepark in Santa Fe, we headed over to another Santa Fe Skatepark – the Genoveva Chavez Skatepark. This is 9,000 sq ft concrete skatepark built by Spohn Ranch back in 2017. This skatepark is a fun little skate spot with both street obstacles and a bowl. Though a little on the small side, it’s a nice skatepark with a good variety of obstacles and artwork that gives it plenty of character!
First Impressions:
When we first got to this Santa Fe Skatepark we noticed how clean and new it looked. The park and the walls around the park are filled with art which sets a great vibe for a skatepark.
Pros: Fun street features and small bowl.
Cons: Small park can feel crowded easily.

Riders Thoughts: Genoveva Chavez Skatepark in Santa Fe
The Genoveva Chavez skatepark has a street section with a number of features which provides riders with a traditional back and forth flow. This side of the park is set up with a number of obstacles which provide riders with ample opportunity for shredding.
I enjoyed riding my longboard in the uniquely shaped bowl of the Genoveva Chavez Skatepark. The bowl has a odd shape with a number of pockets and rounded corners. This unique shape has a great flow and I was able to get pretty high on the walls!
Shred it Later – Pin it Now
The street section is pretty compact here, but they managed to fill it with plenty of obstacles.
Riders can find ramps, quarter pipes, rails, ledges, coping, cement parking curbs, boxes, and even a small stair set.
The Genoveva Chavez Skatepark is great skatepark for a chill skate sesh. It’s kinda small but riders of any age or ability will be able to play around here. If this skatepark is too crowded, you’re in luck because there’s another skatepark in Sante Fe! If you’re looking for a bigger skatepark in Santa Fe, you should check out the Martha Ramirez Skatepark.
