Great Pump Track in Corona, CA | Deleo Sports Park and Skatepark
We went on a short adventure to Southern California and squeezed in a couple skate spots including this awesome pump track in Corona. Located in Deleo Regional Sports Park, the Deleo Pump Track and Bike Park just recently opened in March of 2024. And we were happy to find that it is another great Velosolutions build – we really like their pump track ingenuity. The beautiful mountains make for a stunning backdrop to the track and a great atmosphere. Plus the pump track is super smooth and GREAT for riding a longboard at a pump track!

First Impressions of the Corona Pump Track:
We were on a time crunch when we first arrived at the Deleo Sports Park so I was hoping to hop out of the truck and start skating. But it took me a second to actually find the pump track. When you park at Deleo Sports Park you will be in a big parking lot near the playground, bathrooms and big grass fields. If you walk all the way to the other side of the grass field and look past the fence you will see the pump track at the bottom of a huge hill. When we visited (03/2024), the pump track and bike park was open, but all of the roads down were closed to vehicles. From the parking lot, we made our way over to the paved path (road) that curves down leading to the impressive pump track and bike park.
Pros: Great pump track, very smooth and little traffic.
Cons: A little inconvenient to get to from the parking lots, no lights

Know Before You Go: You might have to figure out how to get down to the pump track, but that’s part of the adventure! Also, there are no bathrooms near the pump track, so use bathrooms on top of the hill before you venture down. The info sign for the pump track has all the rules and what not. And you’ll find a picnic table and some benches, but not much shade.

Riders Thoughts: Deleo Pump Track in Corona
Deleo Pump Track in Corona is a really smooth asphalt pump track and is great for longboarding. The smoothness and twisty turns in this pump track provide riders with a very surfy ride.
The layout of the Corona Pump Track is almost mirrored which gives riders the opportunity to take every turn going either direction. This is a great feature because some pump tracks can create the feeling of going in circles with the same turns over and over. But this track switches it up and makes for a really fun time.
For now, there is a lot of dirt around the Deleo Pump Track. Sometime builders will put gravel, grass, or rubber on the ground between the asphalt track. They might do that here, but in the meantime it’s just dirt. The builders also included one very tall wood wall on one of the corners for bikes. We were fortunate to see an athlete hit this big wall on his bike while we were here. I didn’t muster up the courage to try it on the longboard yet. I thought the wheels might get stuck on the transition between the asphalt and the wood planks.
Shred it Later – Pin it Now
Riders of all skill levels will be able to ride on the Deleo Pump Track. Beginners may have a challenging time through the tight banked turns. But the engineers made it possible to easily go up onto the flat area above the turns. Intermediate to advanced riders will really enjoy the speed and fun made possible by the smooth humps and banked turns.
Straight aways on either side of the track are a great place for beginners to start learning the momentum and feelings associated with a pump track. These straight aways are also where more advanced riders can easily build a lot of speed to go really fast around the track.
This pump track is full of smooth humps and fun turns. I really enjoy how many twisty sections are in this track because it takes a lot of concentration and effort to take a hard left turn into a hard right turn at high speeds.
Deleo Dirt Ramps and Track
You can’t miss the giant dirt jumps and large mountain bike obstacles right next to the asphalt pump track. This area is made for bmx and mountain bikes to launch high up in the air and land on the tall dirt mounds. I’m not much of a bike guy, so I didn’t ride anything here, but these guys make it look easy and fun!
There are a number of dirt ramps and hills along with a number of unique wood features here. Some of the unique wood features include ramps (of varied sizes), large banked turns, and some rounded wood platforms.
This dirt track and pump track combo kind of reminds me of another pump track. If you were to combine the large wood features with the paved asphalt track you would have something very similar to The West Valley Pump Track.
Deleo Skatepark
There is also a small skatepark at the Deleo Sports Park. The skatepark is right at the end of the parking lot of the park near the playground and bathrooms. The Deleo Skatepark is a small street oriented skatepark.
The skatepark has a few ramps, a rails, some boxes, and a few other small obstacles all inside a fenced in area. This skatepark sits on a flat concrete foundation and has a shaded sitting area.
