Humboldt Skate Lab

Humboldt Skate Lab is a cool little skate shop located in Old Town Eureka, right behind the Lost Coast Brewery. They are a cool group of guys who enjoy supporting local riders of the lost coast.

Humboldt Skate Lab has a great deck wall with tons of options to choose from, they also have all the hardware and wheels to set you up with a great custom complete. They also have a great selection of skate apparel.

They have the largest board selection I’ve seen on the north coast, and they often have great reissues and classic decks. They also carry a selection of longboards including some hand crafted Lost Coast Longboarding boards! On the walls of the shop you can see an impressive collection of classic boards.

These guys know their skate history and are great people to learn from. The laid back atmosphere of Humboldt Skate Lab fits the lost coast, and is a great spot to chill on your way to the Eureka skate park, or on your way to other old town stores. Kick back and watch some skate videos on the huge tv and enjoy meeting locals and discovering the local skate scene. When I stopped in last they were in the process of building a half pipe in the back alley! I’ve also attended one of they’re skate bbq events where local skaters competed on verts, boxes, and half pipes for Skate Lab prizes! It was great!
