When we first pulled up to the Overland Pump Track, I immediately thought about how cool it would be as a kid to grow up in this neighborhood and have this pump track in your front yard everyday! Having now been to another pump track called The Spoke, it has a similar setting.

Riders Thoughts: Pump Track in Eagle Mountain
The Overland Pump Track is a classic Velosolutions pump track with a variety of smooth humps and banked turns that provide an excellent environment for longboarding!
The vast open land and mountains make for a beautiful backdrop to the Overland Pump track even though it’s located right inside a suburban neighborhood. The humps of the pump track come in a variety of sizes which really allow riders to use their momentum and their own power to move fast around the track.
The areas between the asphalt track are filled in with fine/medium sized gravel that can find its way on to the track. This can cause slick conditions or hazards, so be on the look out as you’re riding. And maybe take a look around the track before you get started.
The steep humps and banked turns in the Overland Pump Track will give any rider a good leg workout. And those who try to go fast, are very likely to succeed! This pump track does not have any directional arrows which I like. This gives riders the freedom to go wherever they want and try turns in different directions.
Shred it Later – Pin it Now!
From the flat platform area the layout of the track creates a wide loop around the outside with larger mellow banked turns. The turns get a little sharper and the humps get a little steeper as riders zig zag through the inside of the track.
If you have strong legs and good cardio, you can literally ride this track endlessly. And riders will find opportunities to switch up the flow to ride the track in either direction. Overall this is a great layout for longboarding in a pump track and a fun place for surfing the asphalt.
