The skatepark in Louisville has a nice street section with ramps, boxes, rails, stairs, quarter pipes, concrete ledges, metal ledges, and areas with coping. There are a lot of good features in this area which is great because there is a little bit of something for everyone and for every riding style.
Around the skatepark you can find some unique features. For instance, this rainbow rail which gives riders a smooth transition into a grind, or can even be used as a ramp! (for experienced skaters)

The Louisville Skatepark in Colorado also provides athletes with a few different vert riding opportunities. The larger of the bowls has a really unique shape with a number of pockets and smooth transitions all around. This bowl also features coping, concrete ledges, and a roll in area. These features create a great environment for riders to improve their abilities by gradually attempting new and larger obstacles.
This large bowl was the highlight of the Louisville Skatepark for my cement surfing style of longboarding in a skatepark. The smooth transitions and banked turns made it fun to pump my momentum and keep up a pretty good speed.
The skatepark in Louisville, Colorado also features a smaller stand alone bowl. This bowl is bean shaped and similar to a classic pool. The bowl is lined in coping and has a shallow and a deeper side.
The Louisville Skatepark is a pretty good skatepark and I think most skateboarders and scooters will have a fun time at this park regardless of skill level. The park was lacking a great flow for the longboard, but there is a good hill that goes from the rec center down to the skatepark that was pretty fun.
