Owens River Road is a well known dispersed camping area but luckily there are a lot of spots to choose from! For the most part, camping on Owens River Road consists of dirt spots nestled among the tall pines with great surrounding scenery. Camping on Owens River Road is a great free option with the convenience of unlimited recreation opportunities in every direction!

Rotary Skatepark is a large, spacious concrete skatepark with a layout that encompasses 27,000 square feet. With a large street area and several fun bowls, this is definitely one of my favorite Fresno Skateparks. This large cement skatepark has something for every type of rider, whether your a seasoned pro or just learning your basics. The smooth transitions here are great conditions for longboarding in a skatepark.

Hiking Crystal Lake Trail Near Mammoth Lakes
Hiking Crystal Lake Trail is a short but scenic adventure climbing switchbacks through the woods to a beautiful high elevation lake. Along the way there are incredible views of the surrounding granite mountains and several of the gorgeous lakes down below. Hiking to Crystal Lake is a great hike as far as bang for your buck or beauty for your effort.

Hiking Grapevine Canyon is a cool experience as it mixes history with beautiful desert scenery and some good ol' rock scrambling! Grapevine Canyon is located in the Spirit Mountain Wilderness of Lake Mead National Recreation Area. After viewing the many neat petroglyphs near the canyon entrance continue wandering through the canyon via faint trail and bursts of rock scrambling!

You can find all of this and more in the vast, nearly 16,000 acre Lagunas de Montebello National Park in Chiapas, way down south in Mexico near the Guatemala border.
