Templeton Skatepark in Templeton, CA
The Templeton Skatepark is another great addition to the list of Central Park Skateparks to check out! This medium sized skatepark has a great diversity of obstacles set inside of a long fenced in area. The slight downhill angle helps to maintain speed while linking obstacles and cruising lines. Longboarding at the Templeton Skatepark is fun because of all of the smooth transitions and roll ins.

Camping Near Camp Verde
At a glance, Camp Verde looks and feels like a small town overshadowed by some big destinations - Phoenix, Sedona, and Flagstaff. It took us two separate occasions to see that camping near Camp Verde is actually like striking gold!

Temecula Skatepark | Ronald Reagan Sports Park
The Temecula Skatepark is very large with a pretty unique and open layout. I found that the most unique feature of the Temecula Skatepark had to be that it features a really large cement hill inside of the skatepark. And from a longboarders perspective the large size of the skatepark, the cement hill and a bowl plus it being located right next to the Temecula pump track made this combination a cement surfer's paradise!

West Clear Creek Trail | Bullpen Road
This trail provides access into the incredible, narrow and rugged canyon of West Clear Creek Wilderness. This wilderness area follows a clean, rushing creek through a canyon of luscious cottonwoods and gorgeous red rocks. There are numerous perfect swimming holes, rock hopping opportunities, and stunning scenery that will make you wish you prepared for an overnight trip instead of a hike!

Free Camping Near Phoenix: Sonoran Desert National Monument
We were looking for free camping near Phoenix but aside from some casino parking lots, we weren't having much luck. But then, about an hour south of Phoenix, heading west on I-8 we found nice dispersed camping at the Sonoran Desert National Monument. This vast, sprawling stretch of BLM land was a welcoming landscape to spend some time in warm winter temperatures with plenty of room to roam.

Longboarding In A Skatepark
Most people don't think about longboarding in a skatepark. And when you're riding a longboard at a skatepark, most people are really surprised. Todays engineering has taken modern skateparks to a whole new level. Many of todays skateparks are created on a very large scale and now incorporate many smooth transitions and banked turns that are great for longboarding in a skatepark. The sensations given to a rider in these environments feels very much like surfing, hence the nickname "cement surfing".

Camping Near Sycamore Creek | Beeline Highway
After looking and looking, we pulled the trailer down near Sycamore Creek and then through the wash for about a quarter mile in questionably deep sand. With some strategy and enough speed, we managed to back our trailer into the perfect little branch off of the main wash. And we were home!
