Exciting Bike Park and Pump Track in Menifee, CA
The pump track in Menifee, California is a 22,000 square foot asphalt pump track built by the team at Velosolutions in 2022. The pump track is part of the larger Gale Webb Action Sports Park which features both dirt and asphalt pump track areas. The park was created with guidance from Gale Webb (a local hall of fame skateboarder) and the city of Menifee to encourage kids to get outside, have fun, and enjoy physical fitness.

Amazing World Class Skatepark | Memorial Skatepark In Colorado Springs
Memorial Skatepark in Colorado Springs is one of those must see skateparks for anyone who loves the sport! The sheer size of this 45,000 sq. ft. skatepark mixed with a downhill flow from every direction makes this a really fun place for some skatepark cement surfing with a longboard. Unique features are found in every corner of this skatepark which makes Memorial Skatepark a very memorable one.

Great Pump Track in Corona, CA | Deleo Sports Park and Skatepark
We went on a short adventure to Southern California and squeezed in a couple skate spots including this awesome pump track in Corona. Located in Deleo Regional Sports Park, the Deleo Pump Track and Bike Park just recently opened in March of 2024. And we were happy to find that it is another great Velosolutions build - we really like their pump track ingenuity. The beautiful mountains make for a stunning backdrop to the track and a great atmosphere. Plus the pump track is super smooth and GREAT for riding a longboard at a pump track!

Inglewood Pump Track | Longboarding the First Pump Track in LA
Years ago when we lived here, there were no pump tracks, so you can imagine my excitement to find out about the first pump track in Los Angeles. The Inglewood Pump Track is another great example of the high quality craftsmanship that the team over at Velosolutions is all about. The Inglewood Pump Track is a fun and exciting track that will exhaust your legs and fulfill the need for some cement surfing! The track and its features are great for bikes, boards and skates. I really enjoyed everything about riding my longboard the Inglewood Pump Track.

Diverse and Unique Metzler Ranch Skatepark in Castle Rock, Colorado
Next up on our skatepark road trip through Colorado is Metzler Ranch Skatepark in Castle Rock, Colorado. This skatepark is a large cement skatepark with a good variety of different features. This variety provides something fun for all riding styles and abilities. I was able to find a pretty good flow for my cement surfing style of riding a longboard in a skatepark.

Whether you're looking for a scenic area to get away or for some dispersed camping near Mt Shavano for ease of bagging this 14er, camping at Shavano Wildlife Area is a great choice. Some of the camp spots are tucked into the junipers while others are more open and spread out. And almost all of the spots have incredible vast, mountain views. This scenic dispersed camping area is no secret though so plan accordingly, especially on weekends.

This 15,000 square foot concrete skatepark has a great diversity of transitions that allow for fun, creative skateboarding lines.
