With so many obstacles and the unique layout, it's easy to spend time here. Plus, the good flow and transitions make this a fun place for longboarding in a skatepark.

The hike to Moonshine Arch itself is just a mere 2 miles roundtrip but the beautiful landscape and big arch formation make it a worthwhile adventure! Moonshine Arch is an impressive arch formation reaching about 40 feet high and spanning a length of 85 feet. And to make hiking to Moonshine Arch even more exciting, you can climb around and explore.

The Fossil Creek Street Skatepark in Fort Collins is a 15,000 sq. ft. concrete skatepark made in 2003 and designed with the street skater in mind. This skatepark features a ton of steps and ledges but the open layout offers very little flow for transition skaters.

Fantasy Canyon is a unique off the beaten path destination located near the dinosaur diamond that surrounds Vernal. Take a break from the dinosaurs and check out these odd, intricate sandstone formations and hoodoos artfully shaped by weathering and erosion. This small, concentrated area of quizzical formations is a really cool to see.

Mehaffey Skatepark in Loveland | Big Features and Fun Flow
The Mehaffey Skatepark in Loveland Colorado is a fun skatepark with some really unique features. Riders ranging from beginners all the way through expert level skaters will have a good time at this skatepark. This 15,000 sq. ft. concrete skatepark was built in 2015 by Team Pain and accommodates both street and vert riders. Many smooth transitions can be found here making this a great place for longboarding in a skatepark!

Dispersed Camping Near Dinosaur National Monument | Blue Mountain Road
Blue Mountain Road is a long road full of great options for dispersed camping near Dinosaur National Monument. Blue Mountain Road can be accessed from the 40 in Utah or from Harpers Canyon Road in the Colorado side of the monument. While we were in the area, we experienced the top and bottom (or north and south, high and low) options for dispersed camping on Blue Mountain Road. They were very different experiences. So we'll provide detailed information for both of these options.
