Rotary Skatepark in Clovis | Fresno Skatepark
Rotary Skatepark is a large, spacious concrete skatepark with a layout that encompasses 27,000 square feet. With a large street area and several fun bowls, this is definitely one of my favorite Fresno Skateparks. This large cement skatepark has something for every type of rider, whether your a seasoned pro or just learning your basics. The smooth transitions here are great conditions for longboarding in a skatepark.
First Impressions:
When you first get to the Rotary Skatepark you are welcomed with a huge sign that gets you excited just to be at the skatepark. You’ll notice that there are a lot of rules here, but the skatepark is free so it’s easy to follow the rules. This skatepark has a cool layout and a great flow that you will notice as soon as you jump on your wheels.
Pros: Spacious with great vert, smooth transitions, and street obstacles.
Cons: The rules are strictly enforced for a public park, but safety first is totally understandable!

Riders Thoughts: Rotary Skatepark
Once you enter under the large sign at the Rotary Skatepark in Fresno you just know that you’re about to have a great skate session. The front of the skatepark is a wide flat open space that leads riders around the wide perimeter of the park or down a ramp into the main section and riding area of the park. Scattered along the perimeter there are a number of boxes and ledges. Riders can choose from a number of ways to get into the main section of the skatepark. You can take one of the ramps, take the set of stairs, use the rail, or drop in from the coping on one of the many ledges.
This area has a pretty open layout with a few banked turns and a large pyramid box. The walls of this area have a smooth transition with the floor and coping along some of the edges. The wide pyramid has ramps up and down the other side. There is also a long tall box with metal edges as well as another narrow box and two more ledges at a variety of heights on this pyramid.
This main area of the Rotary Skatepark has a great flow between obstacles. It’s a fun area for riders to go up and down a variety of ramp sizes and steepness.
Shred it Later – Pin it Now
There are many banked turns around this section. And the flow continues over a rounded hump giving riders an opportunity to skate in a bowl. This area is great for longboarding in a skatepark because the size and smooth transitions feel like your surfing a cement wave! And it’s perfect for pumping on a longboard and gaining speed in the middle of a run.
Along with the main section, the Rotary Skatepark provides a ton of opportunity for experienced vert riders. The skatepark has one pool bowl that old school shredders will love. It’s a very steep clover shaped pool with a shallow and a deep side, cement coping, tiles along the edge, and even complete with a traditional pool stair set.
My favorite part of the Rotary Skatepark is the huge bowl in the back of the skatepark. This bowl is a really unique shape with a ton of pockets and huge vert walls.
The unique shape and large size gives riders the chance go really fast. And the pockets allow riders to switch up the lines and take the same turns in different directions.
The size of this bowl makes it great for longboarding in a skatepark and gives riders a great wave for some cement surfing!
Overall, Rotary Skatepark in Fresno California is a great skatepark for riders of any age or skill level. The skatepark provides a variety of obstacles and different sizes of features that any rider will be able to take advantage of. Advanced riders will really enjoy the large vert sections of the Rotary Skatepark.

Yes, besides it stating in the body of the article twice that it is located in Fresno. Best to stay consistent. Great article otherwise though, keep it up.

Why do you strictly inforce the rules that’s adults must be fully padded and helmets on to skate here but then show a guy skating with no helmet or pads.
Lost Coast Longboarding
Well the rules are strictly enforced when the skatepark is open, but we happen to be at the skatepark after hours
