Roxborough Skatepark | Great Transitions and Fun Flow
Roxborough Skatepark is a great addition to any Denver Skatepark road trip, even if it is a bit on the outskirts. Since the whole area is new to us, we had no idea what to expect from the skatepark in Littleton. We were glad that we made a stop here because there are some fun transitions and great flow for longboarding at Roxborough Skatepark. This 15,000 square foot concrete skatepark has a great diversity of transitions that allow for fun, creative skateboarding lines. In this article we’re going to show off the layout of Roxborough Skatepark and point out some of the cool features.
First Impressions of Roxborough Skatepark:
Pros: This is a great skatepark by Team Pain Skateparks with a great flow bowl, pool bowls, and street skating features.
Cons: No lights here.

Riders Thoughts:
I really enjoyed skating the Roxborough Skatepark in Littleton and I think it would be hard for anyone who likes skating to dislike this skatepark.
The main reason I enjoy skating here is because of the numerous cool transitions found throughout. Riders will find a very flow bowl feel to much of the park which is made by uniquely rounded ramps and banked turns all over. I find these types of transitions make ideal cement surfing conditions for riding a longboard in the skatepark.
This corridor of flow leads riders to a more open area of the skatepark where riders will find even more transitions and banked turns. There are a few different features that add to the smooth transitions and flow in so many different directions. This area is a lot of fun because the features allow riders to easily flow between obstacles while pumping and maintaining speed around the park. All of these smooth transitions make this part of the skatepark a lot of fun for longboarding.
Shred it Later – Pin it Now
The far end of the Roxborough Skatepark has a tall wall with banked turns and smooth quarter pipes along with a large peninsula pyramid box. The builders chose to include a rounded “boob” feature in this part of the park which adds to the flow. This feature can be used from any direction and aids riders in building speed throughout a run.
This end of the skatepark is also home to the tall “tombstone” wall feature. This tall feature is rounded on the bottom but comes up to a very square platform lined with mosaic mountain tiles and cement coping.
Riders will find street features such as rails and this picnic table box at this end of the skatepark. There are a few opportunities to experience different surfaces at the Roxborough Skatepark. One such feature is the free standing brick quarter pipe.
Bowls at Roxborough Skatepark
We can’t talk about the Roxborough Skatepark with out mentioning the multiple bowls! There are two large pool bowls in the skatepark, both of which are fully lined in cement pool coping. The larger of the two bowls is the orange bowl, called this simply because it has orange tiles. It is a multi-level clover shaped bowl.
Once inside this large bowl, the unique shape provides a pretty good flow and some fun lines with a rewarding rumble beneath your wheels as you ride upon the tiles.
The smaller bowl, the green bowl, also has the classic pool features with a varied depth, tiles and cement coping. This bowl features a stair set in the shallow pocket and some pretty unique hips in the deep side.
Due to the steepness of the walls and the dramatic cement pool coping, I would consider both bowls at the Roxborough Skatepark to be advanced features. Luckily, the rest of the skatepark has fun features that riders of any skill level will enjoy.
The Roxborough Skatepark really is a fun skatepark that anyone on a board, scooter or bike can enjoy. And using the diversity of features provided here will surely improve the skill set of any rider.
