Sergeant Blake Harris Skatepark in Pueblo
We have been on a few road trips in Colorado and every time we visit the state we find more great skateparks to check out! Sergeant Blake Harris Skatepark in Pueblo is an old skatepark that caters to street skaters. The construction and engineering has a retro/grunge feel that sets its own skate vibe. This skatepark is good for riders of all skill levels.
First Impressions of Pueblo Skatepark:
Pros: Great street skating vibe with “real world” features.
Cons: Not much for vert riders.

Riders Thoughts: Sergeant Blake Harris Skatepark in Pueblo
The rough concrete, odd features, and weird coping are all evidence that the skatepark in Pueblo is an older skatepark. The layout of the park also feels very random where as modern skateparks usually have a pretty good flow and smoother transitions.
The skatepark has an almost skate plaza vibe with lots of flat open space and a ton of obstacles. Athletes will find boxes, ledges, stairs, rails, pyramids, ramps, benches, and curbs littered around the skatepark.
All of these features allow riders to get creative and include many obstacles in a single run. The large trees provide riders with some much needed shade in the summer.
Shred it Later – Pin it Now
When we first got to Sergeant Blake Harris Skatepark I was excited to skate the bowl. The bowl looks and feels home made. First thing I noticed was that the transitions are all round, but not very smooth… rather it’s actually pretty lumpy. And the bowl is shallower than I expected and didn’t really flow for me. The coping is very unique, it’s small and narrow, and I’ve never seen coping like this anywhere else.
None of the obstacles here are expert level, but there are some features that good skaters will have a lot of fun with. I think the average skateboarder will be able to use a bunch of the features here and probably get to try something new too!
