Hohokam Skatepark in Maricopa, Arizona
Maricopa, Arizona is home to two different skateparks, the cement Copper Sky Skatepark and the modular Hohokam Skatepark. Usually a modular type of skatepark primarily targets a street style of skating, but this particular skatepark has large ramps, a unique layout, a number of smooth transitions and some great banked turns. And it's surprisingly good for riding a longboard in a skatepark. Hohokam Skatepark will entertain expert skaters as well as beginners.

Carmel Valley Pump Track is a great representation of the skate/surf culture in southern California. The flow and banked turns of this pump track make it a great place to come and surf the cement! This pump tracks has multiple routes of various difficulties which caters to riders of different skill levels.

Durango Skatepark in Las Vegas
Durango Skatepark is a medium sized skatepark that has good flow and a variety of transitions. It's both great for learning and fun for more experienced riders. If you're in the northwestern Las Vegas area this is a good skatepark to check out.

Temecula Skatepark | Ronald Reagan Sports Park
The Temecula Skatepark is very large with a pretty unique and open layout. I found that the most unique feature of the Temecula Skatepark had to be that it features a really large cement hill inside of the skatepark. And from a longboarders perspective the large size of the skatepark, the cement hill and a bowl plus it being located right next to the Temecula pump track made this combination a cement surfer's paradise!

The Basin Skatepark in Flagstaff is the largest and most advanced of the three different skateparks in Flagstaff. The Basin Skatepark and BMX Park is primarily set up for vert style riding with large bowls and steep drop ins. This skatepark is made to be a BMX park, but it is a great playground for experienced skateboarders.

The Lone Pine Skatepark in California is a relatively small skatepark with smooth cement, banked turns, ramps and rails. This skatepark is located right behind the McDonalds in Lone Pine. It is literally so close that it seems like the skatepark is in the McDonalds parking lot… it's like the best Play Place you can imagine!
