Orange Cove Skatepark is an awesome 36,000 square foot skatepark located about 40 minutes from Fresno. This huge skatepark is loaded with great vert and smooth transitions making it worth the trek out here. There are some open areas and mellow ramps that are good for warming up or learning. And the large vert bowls are great for advanced riders. The smooth transitions and flow make this a great layout for longboarding in a skatepark. With a large street area and several fun bowls, this is definitely one of my favorite Fresno Skateparks. This large cement skatepark has something for every type of rider, whether your a seasoned pro or just learning your basics. The smooth transitions here are great conditions for longboarding in a skatepark.

Hiking Crystal Lake Trail is a short but scenic adventure climbing switchbacks through the woods to a beautiful high elevation lake. Along the way there are incredible views of the surrounding granite mountains and several of the gorgeous lakes down below. Hiking to Crystal Lake is a great hike as far as bang for your buck or beauty for your effort.

The Applegate Skatepark in Merced is a cool little skatepark. Here you'll find a wide variety of street obstacles as well as a small bowl with a roll in. Although not a great layout for longboarding, most street skaters will enjoy this skatepark!
