One of the coolest adventures that we did on the outskirts of Vegas was the hike to Gold Strike Hot Springs. This hike is in Boulder City, about 45 minutes from the Strip. This hike had it all: beautiful scenery, boulder scrambling, ropes to repel down, hot springs, and a cold river!

Testing the Waterborne Skateboards Surf Adapter
Who says you can't surf in the desert? We had the opportunity to test the Waterborne Skateboards Surf Adapter out here in the desert. We've seen pictures and videos of this thing on Instagram and we had to try it out. It caught my eye when I saw the animation video of how it worked, then I saw the videos and images of people carving hard with the Surf Adapter.
