Hiking Grapevine Canyon is a cool experience as it mixes history with beautiful desert scenery and some good ol' rock scrambling! Grapevine Canyon is located in the Spirit Mountain Wilderness of Lake Mead National Recreation Area. After viewing the many neat petroglyphs near the canyon entrance continue wandering through the canyon via faint trail and bursts of rock scrambling!

We were surprised to find a skatepark in Logandale, Nevada! Logandale is a small town near the incredible Logandale Trails about an hour from Las Vegas. The skatepark in Logandale is a really small, modular style skatepark consisting of several ramps, boxes and a rail situated on an old fenced in tennis court.

Craig Ranch Skatepark is one of the best skateparks in Las Vegas! Las Vegas is home to a bunch of great skateparks - Anthem Skatepark being an area top contender. The snow capped mountains are a beautiful backdrop to this large skate park in Reno Nevada. This skate park is a great park for a rider of any experience level because of the variety of obstacles, bowls, and open space. From mellow ramps to the tall vert, rails, coping, roll in's and a ton of bowls, this park has it all!

Boondocking near Hawthorne, Nevada
Just north of the small, friendly desert town of Hawthorne is Walker Lake. Walker Lake is a large lake surrounded by high desert, wild horses, and rugged peak and canyons. We stayed here in April and the weather was pleasant though often windy. We did have a couple cloudy windy days. The mountains across the lake captured the storm and the clouds sat upon the ridge.
