Longboarding The Grand Canal Trail
One of the longest multi-use trails in Phoenix is The Grand Canal Trail. The trail runs parallel with the Grand Canal through Phoenix, Arizona. The trail is paved with asphalt.
The Grand Canal Trail a fun path to take the longboard for a cruise on and a good way to see some of the city. We saw some cactus, some ducks, and a bunch of houses and apartments along the canal.
I would suggest really soft wheels for skating this path because it is not the smoothest path. There are some smooth spots, but most of the path is pretty bumpy. I didn’t follow the whole path, but it seemed to continue to be rough the whole way. There are also a few bridges to cross to the other side of the canal.
The path starts at a city park which is nice. You can follow the path to other parts of town that connect to roads and sidewalks so you are not restricted to the path.
Cruising around in Phoenix was fun! The path was very clean, has all sorts of unique buildings, and plenty of shops and restaurants to stop and chill at! If you are interested in supporting our cause please check out some of our cool longboard products HERE! Thanks for your support!
