Riders Thoughts:
The Todd Beamer Skatepark in Fresno is a fun skatepark because there is a great variety of transition types scattered all around the park.
When you first enter the skatepark, you see a deep vert section lined in coping and a small staircase to your left. As you make your way clockwise around the skatepark riders will find a variety of ramps that lead to a number of scattered cement boxes and ledges.
In the middle of the Todd Beamer Skatepark riders will find a flat area with a quarter pipe on one side and a stair set on the other. On either side of this stair set there are several cement boxes and flat cement ramps.
Shred it Later – Pin it Now
The flow of the skatepark takes you from this area into the deeper vert side of the park. The vert side of the Todd Beamer Skatepark has tall walls that have smooth transitions along them leading into the two wide corners of the bowl. Along the long wall, riders can drop in off the coping or use the steep roll in.
In the corner of the skatepark there is a deep pool for the vert riders out there. The odd shape of this deep pool is kind of like a rounded rectangle that smoothly drops into a deeper rounded pocket. Due to the steep vert in this bowl, this area is very fast and ideal for experienced riders. This entire bowl is surrounded in coping, so dropping in is a must!
Overall the Todd Beamer Skatepark in Fresno, California is a really nice skatepark that can be fun for riders of any age and experience level. Some of the steep transitions may be difficult for beginners but advanced riders should really enjoy a skate sesh here. Also, they have these awesome benches that we had to include in the article!
