Weed Skatepark in Northern California
The Weed Skatepark is a fun smooth cement skatepark. There are a lot of smooth transitions throughout the park as well as a mix of coping and roll ins. The smooth transitions and banked turns make this skatepark feel flowy and makes it great for longboarding in a skatepark.

Know Before You Go:
The rules state skateboarding is only permitted Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. While bikes and scooters are permitted Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I really don’t think anyone is going to enforce this rule… but we thought you should know.

Riders Thoughts:
The Weed Skatepark is a fun little cement skatepark. The cement is smooth and has many good transitions between obstacles.
Riders can find a variety sized banked turns from small to large while cruising around. The diversity of banked turns allow for riders to be creative with their lines because they can easily find banked turns in many different directions.

There is one large bowl with coping around most of it. I like the gap in the coping because it allows someone to roll into the bowl. There are a ton of “humps” in the ground which are fun for creating your own snake lines.
These are fun for pumping to build and maintain speed while longboarding in a skatepark. There is one rail and a few good lips to grind on throughout the park.
The rest of the larger city park has a baseball field, a playground, and some basketball courts as well. Not a huge park, but Weed is not a huge town, so it’s fitting. If you’re looking for a fun spot to go longboarding in Weed, check out this article about the hill at Mountain View Road.
