Riders Thoughts:
The Yucca Valley Skatepark is a very small and very simple skatepark. The park features a few cement ramps and boxes on a flat cement pad. The main feature of the skatepark is the half pipe.
There are also a couple sets of stairs as well as two rails for grinds. There is really not too much to say about this skatepark, but rumor has it that the City of Yucca Valley is working on upgrading the skatepark.

As someone who longboards in a skatepark I tend to search out vert, smooth transitions, and bowls… none of which can be found at this skatepark. But if you leave the skatepark and head across the parking lot you can find a cement drainage ditch that is great!
This is a fun area to longboard because the ditch is constructed of cement very similar to a skatepark and the walls of the ditch are angled just right. The transitions here are a little harsh and not very smooth, but with enough speed and some larger wheels this is practically like the snake run of the Yucca Valley Skatepark.
